The class sound as if gets into more the function and dynamics of the camera as opposed to composition. There are several field trips to shoot with the instructors and at the end of the class our work will be critiqued. I'm thinking they will help determine which button to push!

And yes, I am in frozen Northern Ohio.
For $3k they should provided one-on-one instructors for the first six months! Please post ASAP.

Not quite that much. It is amazing the deals you can find when you shop long enough and the seller is motivated.

It's cold (for Southern California), but another beautiful day in the hood...

Catalina Island (26 miles off-shore) viewed from Pacific Coast Highway near Crystal Cove State Beach.
It was super clear today, and the Ocean was like a lake.

Jerry, I don't think I've ever seen Catalina with that much detail. Nice! It was clear enough that I could easily see San Pedro and the Palos Verde peninsula from my deck today. Right now, after 6PM, it's about as clear as it gets. I see beautiful sparkling lights, even on the oil rigs.

Lainey, I rode my ElliptiGO this afternoon, starting at about 2:20PM. It was 50°F when I started and around 45°F when I finished, after 5 PM. Brr!! That's really cold, when you're moving. For me to be riding at 14mph in 48°F, the wind chill factor brings it down to 42°F. No wonder my toes were numb.
