You are only about 3 months ahead of me. Do you always trailer?

We've had bigger boats we've kept on dock davits. The only one we ever kept in water was our sailboat. Salt is very corrosive and barnacles grow on everything. Maintenance is a never ending project on the water.

An aluminum trailer is good way to go here. We can keep the boat washed down and protected from the elements. Boat and trailer get washed and flushed with every use. We have a private neighborhood launch. It's a block from my house. The boat has a composite hull. It's very light.

Must be a three wheeled Morgan -- about 1935. I have a 1/43 model of it somewhere.
I agree with you.

Our youngest daughter bought a new car today, a 2013 Challenger. Its beautiful:

Dad wants a test drive:

Its a really nice car and I'm very happy for her. I'm also happy that she'll be the one who has to keep that black exterior polished!

Thanks. She reallllllly needed a car and I'd grown weary of lending her ours for trips, etc. Her old car had in excess of 240k miles (mustang) and had just about become ready to bite the dust. She had that mustang for 11 years. This is her first really big purchase and I'm glad she chose what she wanted and was able to buy this for herself. It makes working less painful when you're doing for something you love. She's happy for now and we'll see if her happiness wanes when the grim reality of car payments sets in.
