Thanks, dlq/Dave. I liked the shadow too. I appreciate your comments on the other photo as well. One Yuengling Black and Tan for you the next time we are together!

I've always enjoyed photography with a human element or its suggested its presence. It’s just my preference, even though many of my photographic attempts in the past haven’t depicted or accommodated my thoughts. If I had the time, patience, and the opportunities to redo those photos, many would show a human presence and perspective.

Here are a few from this weekend. A little human element to get some perspective is included.

Big rocks, little people!

Favorite of the day, looking up from in the chasm

And the sun shining down on the trees that still manage to grow.

We have been to this place before. With two sisters recently breaking their legs, I wondered if I was tempting the fates walking around this place. I also should have not brought in the big girl camera. I was too often worried about breaking my camera vs breaking a leg.

This weekend's adventure. Newport, RI, and totally appreciating where we live, and our proximity to some beautiful beaches, scenery, etc.

Of course I say that now...........not so much in the winter.

Walking on this beautiful beach this afternoon was sooooooooooo relaxing. A gorgeous day in October.

Didn't expect a horse (never mind three) to be on the beach.

Also stopped at a Fort, grabbed a shot of one of the windows....B&W with just a touch of color. I know some folks don't care for the pop of color, but I like playing around with this.

Our weekend adventures will soon come to an end. It's almost time to cover the S.

Hope some other folks will share some pics of adventures here.....especially of WARM places to get me through the cold days.
