Nice Gary!!

I like the mechanical more than just the frame. The gears, chain, etc...

It does look like you've got a dust spot or two on the lens (or if it is interchangeable, somewhere in the camera. I noticed it in the top right of #9, and the top middle of #10. Since I don't know how you cropped any of the shots, that could be a spot on the floor. I didn't notice it in any others.

So... is an engagement official when you give her a rubber band, or when the ring actually arrives?

^When she says, "Yes". Rubber band or ring, doesn't matter. I like the ring. I'd like to see more photos of it.

Nice Serotta bike and nice pics, Gary! I had an earlier Serotta Colorado II that I built from frame up. It was a super road bike. Unfortunately that was the bike that was completely destroyed in an accident, and ended up 300 feet down from the impact scene....

Thanks for the comments, Jim. It sounds as though you’re lucky to have survived your accident. My Serotta is 15 years old, ~ 27k miles, ridden in seven states and has been rebuilt three times. It’s my go-to bike and was in the rain the day before the pic’s. Could you tell?

Gary: the spots are water stains on my garage floor. I agree with patty -- the ring is only a formality after the “yes”.
