It could be, Dave. I've not been a good weeder this year. Or it could be a remnant of some of the stuff we planted and then decided it just didn't work. Some stuff was too tall for where we planted it, and the flowers were not what we were hoping for. I went in an hacked those down last week. It was looking like a jungle.

What's the pink flower called behind Ms. Kitty?

Cone? There's got to be a better name than that. I'd name Ms. Kitty after a pink flower. How about Rosie?

I like Chloris as a name. She was the Greek goddess of flowers and the breath of spring. Ms. Kittie works too.

Hmmm I was thinking Lois. That is the name of the JP that married us, and I' calling this an anniversary present. Lois doesn't sound like a special name, but again, what do I know? I've got trouble naming live cats, never mind wooden ones!

My mom's first name was Violet. I've always liked that, even though she went by her middle name, for some reason. Come to think of it, so did her sister and my father.
