A few days in ME for our anniversary/birthday.

Nubble Light. One of the most photographed light houses in the area.

It is said some of the best lighthouse pics are from the water. So we took a boat ride. $26.00 each, and out came the fog. Lipstick on a pig on this photo.

Kid on beach. He was in his own world, having a blast.

I liked the colors on this lobster buoy. Each lobster man has to select his own colors.

Quintessential Maine, along with a Vintage car

A bridge in Kennebunkport - Notice the padlocks to symbolize love.

Neat old church in Kennebunkport

Flowers everywhere.

All are nice pic’s, Lainey. I liked the misty view of lighthouse, the detail of the locks, and the young surfer boy best.

I’m less interested in a sausage link drive with a number of similar cars than I once was. I once loved the road profiling images, now I enjoy the drive at my own pace which, BTW approaches tepid, where stops are taken when the atmosphere, necessity, or view entices me. If I’m provided with the meeting point(s) and time, I’ll be there to enjoy the camaraderie, which the purpose of the drive.

There are far fewer stone chips, too.

I’m traveling into the Rocky Mountain National park over the next few evenings. While I’m there I’ll practice sunset/night photography with my wife’s camera that has far more pixels, more controls, and a better lens than mine. If any appear worthwhile I’ll post them.

Gary, I look forward to photos you deem postable. As far as drives, I bought an S2000 to drive for fun. If I want to take it easy and sightsee, my Crosstour works fine. I didn't drive 3,000 miles to poke around under the speed limit, at the Hood River meet. I had a blast on the second day when I joined three other Vintage drivers to go to Mount St. Helens at the pace we enjoyed. The group we were supposed to be driving with poked along with a Mustang leading. They enjoyed their pace, too.

Thanks, Patty.

Gary please post some photos. I wish others would also post more often.

I like seeing pics of other areas or things that catch the eye of our car pals.
