ALERT ALERT ALERT
FOR ANYONE DRIVING SOUTH ON THE OREGON COAST! There's a huge country festival in Cape Blanco starting tomorrow (August 1-3). I was told by the hotel check-in staff in Bandon, OR, to be on the road by 8 to 8:30 AM Friday, to avoid the gridlock of 20,000 people. I had planned on sleeping in but no way am I going to now.

I’ve stood at the same spot before. My wife and I had lunch at the Pelican Pub & Brewery, a short distance away.
BTW, it’s amazing how you can actually see the curvature of the earth from your photo’s vantage point.
