Glad you have your peaceful spot, Patty. Not so sure about the crawling lizards.....

First try to post pictures from Shutterfly. You may need to click on link if picture does not appear. The other day this guy was chasing lizards for dinner in our front yard. He lives inside our fenced area but usually stays out of sight.

Your link worked and I liked your picture. Really pretty scenery, the animal (Wolf?) and the bit of color on the flowers gave it extra pop!

Lainey, it's a fox. I took about 30 pictures quickly, no time to frame them or even zoom well, as he refused to hold still. I deleted most of them.
We have no wolves in the whole state, I don't think, but we have coyotes all over, even in Golden Gate park in San Francisco. We hear coyotes yipping at night, very often. Before we fenced, we had 13 of them all at one time, playing in our septic area. I think it was a family reunion.

Hmm I thought a fox would be smaller, no idea why I thought wolf. Shows what I know.

My next door neighbor called me this afternoon to tell me that there was a beautiful bobcat in her backyard. The two of us snapped photos through her windows.
