Odds and Ends Vintage Photos IX

Lainey, you made me laugh...toting a Cheeto around. I guess that's pollen.

I would guess so too. I have no idea how much they gather before making a drop at the hive. These were the tiny honey bees....I might have better luck a bumble bee, since it's a bit larger. A Praying Mantis is even better. They barely move.

Thanks, Patty.
As stuff starts to bloom, I'll take more pics. My honey was busy washing cars and playing in the dirt, I was goofing off with my . I did vacuum my own car though. So much dirt/sand in parking lots, on the streets, and much of it gets tracked into the car. Another reason I'm glad winter is hopefully behind us.

Still playing in the yard with the FB folks have seen these, but I'll share for the non FB folks.
This little angel spoke to me from the shelf at K-mart. Brought her home and put her with the pretty flowers.
Took a cruise on Sunday in the S. This is an historic church on the site of the Wachusett Reservoir. The road next to the reservoir is the first place that Rick got a chance to the S after the break in period in 2004.
This would be so pretty with some green grass and leaves on trees. We were just about to leave when we got a peek of blue sky.
I like arches....this pic wasn't quite what I wanted so I played around with it. Maybe it's like putting lipstick on a pig when you try to make a "so so" photo better. Had to compose it the way I did to avoid many power lines.

^ Your stuff gets better all the time; I wish I could transfer that energy over to my hobbies.

Thanks Dave. I appreciate your comment as I know you have an artist's eye. I should have been doing other things on Saturday than playing with flowers cameras and angels but the dust will keep

Here are some odds and ends...
^4-11-2014. A few of the Surgery waiting room ladies I volunteer with, at our volunteer luncheon. Marilyn, Sue, Donna and Sally (in uniform).
^4-11-2014. My buddy, Jean, who I volunteer with at the main entrance. I love her. After I posted this photo on Facebook, and PA Jerry asked if she was my mom, I showed Jean the photo and told her about it. She and I decided she will be my honorary mom. Just about then I realized I forgot to wear my earrings and necklace and she said, "Mom will buy you some. Go in the gift shop and pick some out."
^4-17-2014. I have a lock and cable across the entrance to my property in Kennedy Meadows. I was locking it back up behind me and saw something scurry.
^4-17-2014. Isn't it cute? In a prehistoric dinosaur sort of way? I don't often see Horned Lizards because their camouflage is so good.
^4-17-2014. I love the peace and quiet up there. I had a new metal roof put on the ramada last September. The ramada is 22 years old so it was time.
^4-17-2014. I've taken this same photo hundreds of times and the view never gets old to me. I'm looking down on the South Fork of the Kern River from a place on the Pacific Crest Trail.
