Took a few pics of some of my old ornaments and my annual new ornament additions. Forgive the lousy focus. My handshake reallllllly showed, but alas, I kept these pics anyway:
This a 40+ year old circus horse that I dearly love:
No explanation needed here, except to say thanks, MsP!
An addition this year, is the British teapot in honor of my newly rediscovered love of tea:
I think if a beautiful girl ever kissed this guy, I may end up with a handsome prince to put on the tree next year.
Ain't she cute?
no tree is complete with its own little bulldog:
Of course I can't leave my little maltese out!

This is our 3rd year with that tree. Its a 10 footer but everyone who sees it thinks its taller. I think by the time we get the topper on, it probably reaches 11 feet. I'm really glad that Lora and Keith put it up and decorated for us this year. I do not think I could have done it by myself and Jim was not up for helping me get it done. I have to use a 12 foot ladder to decorate the top and the ladder is heavier than the tree. Keith got the ladder out and put it away when it was finished. I'm certainly hoping he'll be back for the great undoing as well. The lr ceiling is so high that it cries out for a tall tree. The others we had looked dumpy. I'm going to miss it when its gone.

I like to do the balcony with a little greenery too. I put all the lights (tree, etc.) on timers so I don't have to run around turning them off:
I always display a few Santas:
I like having a Christmasey house.
