Took a pic of this pic (in poor light) last night. This was the sunrise from our hotel room in VA on the trip to SC. Granddaughter liked it when I posted it on FB and asked for a copy. The mat is more off white with greyish edge which looks good with the sky. A black frame should make it pop nicely. I like it enough that I may find a spot for one in my house too.

I should look back a post or two as I'm probably repeating myself. I still wish I had the creative ability to get to the next level with the pics that I've taken that I like. Outside of buying a mat and a frame, and hanging one or two here or there, I'm stuck. I'm stuck at how to group them, and/or how to hang an arrangement of them with any artistic flare.

I am, however, pleased to report that my sister in SC has a few of my pics in her house. She went for a bit more drama, had larger sized copies printed than what I have, she added the frames and mats, and they look pretty good if I say so myself.

Patty said I should post up my Leno pics, so here are a few I have available.

^^That's my yellow beastie in the background behind Leno.

^^ That's me behind the car; my head is just below the call box sign.

^ He has so many cars and that's gotta be the ugliest one. Did he talk about it, Roseanne?

Not conventionally pretty, but truly a beautiful machine. 1917 Fiat.

The man is very personable and is happy to talk to anyone interested in the vehicles he brings up there. Saw his turbine powered motorcycle up there at the overlook one time. Had a nice chat with him about his S600 once. Nice man. Very nice man.

A daughter of my mother's closest friend lives across the street from him. I keep planning to pay her a visit.

Thanks!

And I did get the scarf purposely because it matched the car. I came across a purse and pair of high heels on clearance at DSW all the same yellow too. I let myself splurge on silly things like purses and shoes that match my car when I find them on clearance. Of course it's impossible to safely drive in those shoes so they end up off when I'm driving. Silly, I know but what the hell... it's fun.
