Really nice, Gary. Suitable for framing!

I tried my hand at some shots at the grandson's soccer game. My grandson's team is in blue. As you can see the team in red had some really tall kids, but the grandson's team won 6-1 if not 7-1.

Thanks for the comments everyone.

Nice Photos Gary (the other Gary) and Lainey.

Lainey, it would help to keep your sport photos very tightly cropped, It helps emphasize the action and details of the scene.

Thanks, Gary.

I thought of that after the fact, and after posting. I may try again this weekend.

I just looked at this again on my PC. Awesome shot, Gary! The elk is clear as are the stars. I love it. I want my sister in Colorado Springs to see it. I'm going to send her a link.

Photobucket was having problems last night, and might still be having problems, so that is probably why some of the photos are not showing up now.

You've all been kind with your comments as I purse my hobby. One thing I did take away from the brief course I took was to "take pics that are pleasing to you" (that would be me).

I've always had a thing for windows and doorway pics. I grabbed a few shots of windows looking out of the lighthouses while in NC. I probably shared this one earlier. I liked the depth of it, and had it printed on canvas 12 x 18. I'm happy with it. Cell phone pic. So for those who do not hang around FB, here ya go. The hobby continues to progress....Right now I have this on a bathroom wall. I may move it to a wall where it can be seen more from a distance....

I like that! Is that from the Bodie Island or Hatteras light? Not bad for a cell phone pic.
