Thanks for the nice comments all, Lainey as far as my being a premie, I'm sure the numbers are some place; I know my mom could tell you.......as she did me......I'm damn lucky to be here....... and that's what I tell everyone who knows me.

Thanks Gary. I had hoped to have pics of wild horses in NC but our trip on the tour today was miserable. We saw two horses hiding under a car port. They are obviously way smarter than those of us on a tour in the pouring rain getting soaked. The top on the hummer did nothing to keep us dry. They should have cancelled the tour. I did manage to keep the camera dry

By the way do you know anyone who would like to buy a custom made saddle for a Friesian? She only spent $3,500 for it and she would love to get $2,000. Local saddle shops only want 25% if they list it. Seems there are not a lot of Friesian owners in our area. Guess they knew a money pit when they saw one.

Two of my friends and I were hiking above tree line in Rocky Mountain National Park yesterday when we cam upon this foraging bull elk. We stopped to take pictures when suddenly it began approaching us snorting in a somewhat aggressive manner. No further pictures -- We trotted off while looking over our shoulders. Fortunately, it stood quietly after we put a distance between it and ourselves.
Lesson learned: Don’t approach dangerous wildlife.
