tof, did you take the wedding photos? They look professional, in any case.

Me? I wish I had that kind of skill and equipment. The young lady who took them is a pro. Enough so that she has an apprentice now who also took some of the pics. She was sweet as could be. It was her first wedding shoot at the canyon. She was so excited she referred her best friend to another photographer for the friend's wedding because it was on the same day. She will be posting all the pictures on her web site, from which we are free to download and do whatever we wish with her work. One price for everything! Of course she almost got Rob and Morgan killed with some of the perches where she had them posing.

After our North Carolina adventure we headed to Northern Michigan.

Family shot..

Two weeks of fishing and relaxation.

Although one family member (who almost always ends up with the biggest catch every year) will not hold the small mouth bass right before release

Just a couple more.

This shot always makes me smile.

The youngsters enjoying the sand dunes. It was my son-in-law's first time to this area and before leaving FL he couldn't relate to my daughter telling him he better be in shape to put his feet in Lake Michigan. Now he knows. He slept good that night.

Most every night we travel in to Traverse City for eats.

Since I'm on a 'show and tell' I don't want to leave out Brandy.

Or Donna's newest horse.

Lainey- for handheld, the waterfall pic is fantastic.

BTW: They sell little camera levels that fit into the hot shoe for the flash. $10 or less at most camera shops, little bigger than a standard 6 sided die.

tof- The wedding pics are great!

Thanks Lainey & Val, I believe the grandkids will likely have as fond memories as my kids do of this lake. Thats where my ashes are to be spread.
