Excited tonight! My pic of Thelma under the tree will be on page one of our local paper tomorrow as a winner of a photo contest. No fortune, just fame.


Had the day off today. Hit the docks as a fog was lifting.

Lots of fishing boats going no where. Fog on the other side of the river.


We'll call this a bit of an abstract. It's a reflection of the top of the whaling museum which is up the hill from the water.


Not much for composition, but I loved all the reflections.

OMG, I've watched you, Lainey, mature as a photo/artist and every year you have exceeded the last. Honestly, you are doing really good stuff on a regular basis. Which, to me, says it all. We, any one of us, can hit a home run, but to keep doing it is the true challenge. Go girl!! Those last four were all out of the ball park.

Here’s one of my favorite vacation photos taken on an early morning’s stroll on 12/14/2015 while the +1 and I were exploring the surf in Newport Beach, CA. We need to vacation here much more frequently -- even though this Saturday had superior skiing on Colorado's Wolf Creek ski area.
