Actually, my grandparents. They had a sheep ranch there until they moved to Georgia, where the boll weevils destroyed their crops, then to NC, where I was born. (My mom was born in 1904, and I was a late life surprise for her)

It was truly a tough life on the plains, as you stated.

Love that first one, Gary. Really draws me in. I'll check my files for some foliage pics. No foliage yet this year. Soon though.

I lifted these photos from NSXPrime. They were all taken by Robert Ondrovic, I believe.

^10-8-2015 at NSXPO in Palm Springs, CA at the Palm Springs Air Museum.

^10-9-2015 at The Thermal Raceway. We did some s l o w parade laps. That's my blue hottie on the right, third car back.

^10-9-2015. Interior of the black 2016 NSX I got to ride in around the Thermal Raceway. It realy looks good and the photo doesn't do it justice.

Deb, You and Vito will remember the Durango Cowboy Poetry Gathering from a few years ago.

This year it was October 1-4. We had visitors and enjoyed the down home parade and the all-day Saturday music and poetry reading performances along Main Street.
