You had to have the right eye to take the photo, too.
(Edited to say that in case you don't get what I mean, I am paying you a very big compliment.)

Nice shot Denny. Congrats. Boy, there are lots of great Civil War shots at your site. But, the one I was wondering about was the S2000 being pulled out of the swamp. Yours?

Not mine Dave ...!!! But I was on that drive...and directly behind him, when he slid into the "DRINK"... Roads were very damp & slick....Ass end broke loose, spun 180...& slid right between the barrier poles ... The pole in the middle.....was missing, and he went right between....Very lucky !!!!!!! A gentleman across the street, brought over his pick up...along with a tow rope...and pulled the car out...After a moment or so, of cranking...she fired right up, blew some river silt & weeds out..and ran perfectly...Not even one part of the car was damaged...Fact is .... if you hadn't seen it happen...you would have NEVER known that it actually happened ...

Rumor has it there is to be a major S2K event up that way in 2016. These make for some nice promotional pics. I honestly just want to go run through that meadow!

I’ve returned home after visiting Durango, CO. Thought I would share a few photos I took on the return leg while traveling through the San Juan Mtns and Uncompahgre National Forest.

I'm still in The Four Corners. Took friends to Silverton, Ouray, Telluride, and Mancos this past week. The aspens are very colorful as usual this time of year. I shot lots of photos, too, but can't post pics til I return to Houston this week. I hope to see lots of you at the rumored meet next summer. Maybe you could stick around until September for the fall aspen colors in the San Juans.

Jim (S1997) and Gary (skunkworks), I don't know if you Facebook very often, but I discovered a FB group that I think you can relate to re: Colorado. They have some dynamite photos published (even a couple of mine), so you might want to take a look:
