We have had a banner year in the garden. Some of the flowers are done for the season, but as you can see, we still have plenty of color. All annuals planted from seed, grown in the kitchen, with the exception of some which re-seeded themselves, and the sunflowers, which the birds had a "hand" in. I just moved the sun flowers after they grew a bit.

Rick's green thumb continues to amaze me. His Dad must smile down upon our flower garden. Not pictured are the pots of flowers on the deck and front porch, and beds of flowers around the deck, and in the front, or the veggie garden. We do a LOT of digging........

Pics snapped with iphone and actually came out better than the ones I took with the "real" camera.

Tell Donna, the gardener sends his thanks. It's semi organized chaos back there. I love looking out the kitchen windows and seeing the color.

Emil, no goats on the property.....

This is an oldie. I think it's from about 1962, and I was about 4 to my brother's 2 1/2 years-old. We were at Lake Havasu, Arizona boat camping. The good old days. Lake Havasu City didn't even exist then and camping was a wonderful experience.

My kindergarten photo has the same bang-less haircut. I couldn't wait for kindergarten to try out scissors!
