Love the sunsets, Roseanne. I still have yet to capture one this season. And sunrises.........ah, it's on the retirement bucket list.

Scooter what are the flowers the bees are in?

Hope none of these are re-posts. I have a bee too. They love the sunflowers that are starting to bloom. Macro lens, I think I overdid the edits, but I like the wings.

One FB forum I waste time in is "Abandoned Everything" people post cools pics of abandoned buildings, old cars, and the like. This is a contribution from a week or so ago. Sad house, bet it was a happy house at one time.

Cone flower from the yard

A lily seen in our travels...I like the contrast with the stone wall.

And the last one...I call, "Buddies." There were several horses in the field, all looked very lean......are the ribs supposed to show?

I wouldn't think so either. There was a polo field behind where they were grazing. Maybe they are kept more lean due to that activity?

^^I’ve always been a fan of off-centered oblique lighting angles; it shows details that may not be represented by omnidirectional lighting.

I really like the “Sad House” and the “buddies” photos, Lainey.

I like the sad house too. I will change color pics to b&w just to look for different perspectives.

We have a local photographer here named Clyde Butcher. He's worth your perusal.

Between skunkworks and lainey (whose pics get better and better and better). I'm in awe.

Wow! Clyde Butcher is an equivalent to a modern day Ansel Adams.

Thanks, guys. I took a quick look at Clyde Butcher, will look more tonight!

I like what Black and white can do to a pic.........

A local cemetery. Hope I've not shared this before, I didn't see it in my photobucket files.
