Makes sense, if you are a Facebook user. I'm one of the few who isn't.

Don't know about Facebook, but the two-step process of storing photos on photobucket and copying them here seems pretty easy to me.
For Facebook I can click on ten photos at once in my computer file and they post. Bam. No saving each one to Photobucket and then finding them in Photobucket and clicking each one, one at a time, to get here. Photobucket is slow and so is S2ki compared to Facebook.

Another reason to post on Facebook is that I know my audience. Only my friends can see my posts. I can put stuff on there that I don't want the world to see.
I agree. Patty, photobucket does have some options for uploading multiple pics to this site, but if you want to caption/label anything, that gets real time consuming.

It's not so much an audience thing for me, but more of my FB friends are interested are in my pics and photography as a whole. I get more feedback/suggestions too on how to improve on the hobby. I also spend a fair amount of time on a couple FB photo forums, as that is where more of my interest lies these days.

It's easy enough, but more time consuming, and few people seem interested in contributing to the thread recently.
Doesn't mean we are not looking and enjoying.

And I appreciate your comments and feedback!

PS it's not like I'm looking for on my posts, but of late, there are so few folks posting photos here, it feels as if the thread may have run it's course..??

Presently, I am trying to make friends outside of Facebook while applying the same principles.
Therefore, every day I go down on the street and tell the passers-by what I have eaten, how I feel, what I have done the night before and what I will do tomorrow night.
Then I give them pictures of my family, my dog and me gardening and spending time in my pool.
I also listen to their conversations and tell them I love them. And it works!
I already have 3 people following me:
2 police officers and a psychiatrist

Camping trip in June:

And some pics if you don't want to slog through the album...

Great view.

Don't know why I liked this little bit of green amidst all the brown pine needles, but I did. So I took a picture.

Sunset at the campsite.

Smoldering sunset.

Apparently, I like sunsets.

A quick trek to the beach to see sand and sunset. Needed something to lift the spirits. Don got some bad news and some fresh air helped.

Jeep "Freedom tops" are very cool.

I liked the way the light played on the sand here. Pic sucks, but the lighting was interesting.
