My camera class’s new assignment is “Water”. Following my assignment this is what I have photographed so far. In today’s digital age it’s difficult to be original.

Gary- A few comments. To me the WB looks a little off on the ice/water pic. The picture itself is great, as is the park. Great capture on the reflection. Have you considered taking the icecube from a shallower angle, and getting the ice cub in the reflection of the puddle it makes?
For my contribution... My sisters and I got an email from our cousin a few weeks ago asking if anyone wanted my father's foot locker from the Army. None of us, nor my Mother knew it existed. Apparently, my cousin has had it for decades - maybe even almost 60 years since my Father came back from Korea.
I don't have a spot for it, so my nephew is going to take it. It's in reasonable shape. I have no history on it, and there's no one left to tell us. We've all made the assumption that he returned from Korea to a base in the SF area, and had the locker/crate? shipped back to NY. The address on there is well known to us - it's a restaurant my grandparents owned in the 50s and 60s.

I was somewhat limited with the camera angle in the ice/water pic’. It was taken with all of the items resting on a 12x12” bamboo cutting board – a lower angle would have shown the edges of the board and created DoF issues. Additionally, the light source was rather bluish from a shadowy window, so I adjusted the Kelvin temperature to warm the picture.
Your box is a great family heirloom...put it to good use.
