Must have taken you two days and two rolls. I did smile when I read "So Slow" on the tape on your plate. In case, I agree, it's the fun of competing that really matters - winning or not.

Thanks Murph. I love the new Corvette. Would have recognized it easier if it was a 3 dimensional shot, but it looked too flat in the photo. I just road in my buddies new Vette, and I was thinking of ways to knock him off and steal it, until I came to my senses.

Ha! Less than 1/4 of a wide roll and about 40 minutes. It was too hot to spend more than that on it. I just didn't want to have to clean off any rubber munge that hitting a cone would leave behind. BTDT. Not fun. And the numbers... I didn't even do those myself. I cut a deal with someone at the track. They needed to have more SSP cars for a particular sponsor to pay out for the top finishers so even though I knew I wouldn't be competitive in their group, I agreed to help pad their numbers of competitors. In exchange, one of the things they did for me was the zoomy tape numbers on my car and help me put on the Tire Rack sticker and other SCCA stickers (requirements to run the weekend). The Tire Rack sticker is not staying long term.

I did feel compelled to write the So Slow bit on the blue tape on the plates.

I can't take credit for it, but I'll just leave this here as the inspirational pic of the day...

Big Bro’ and I attended the Denver Auto Show yesterday and I was satisfied with the Audi collection of cars (As you may well know they are my favorites), specifically the S5, RS5 and 7 series. The other companies showed well, too. Unfortunately there were very few concept cars on display…there were no NSX, Toyota, and Nissan prototypes, other than the BMW. Here’s a few pic’s (slideshow) of my staggered walk about through the car venues – No…I wasn’t drunk or high, it’s just my unexplained mannerism.

There were lots of big grills on most models and I’m not certain why some of many of the coupes and convertibles were considered four passenger cars.

Nice pics, Gary. Lot's of POP!

Spring is here at last.

Tried to get a little creative today. Hope they aren't too heavy on edits.
I like windows

I like old buildings

And I like this! First time out this season. Rick took the cover off and in spite of being buried in snow several times this winter, the car looked great. We were top down all afternoon. Season 12 begins in our S2000.

I was torn between the pet thread, the art thread or the photo thread but I found the photo thread first.

That's great! What medium is she using? Pencil? Charcoal?
