Thanks!
^^^ Rice has the Jones School of Business, but it is a graduate school. But it does not have an undergraduate degree in business. Nick is currently interested in studying business and psychology. He hasn't made up his mind yet where he is going to study. He would like very much to go to California, but we shall see. And he wants to do a year's study abroad in Germany. He will be living at home and working to save his money for college until August.

One of my favorite pics of Thelma may be used on the news letter of an animal charity in the UK. I was using this pic as my profile pic on FB and it was noticed by a friend of my cousin. My cousin lives and works in the UK. Her friend asked permission to use the pic. I sent him a copy and hopefully, Thelma's pic will be the first choice of three. Thelma the shelter kitty may be famous.

Here are a few shots from the past month.
For the past few days, it's been super clear here, in So Cal, with the offshore wind and dry, cold (for us), air. Yesterday, I took some photos from my deck looking towards Newport Beach. Today, my good friend Jerry (Spokes Man) called, since he was in town to see his kids, and we met for a ride from Irvine to the back bay in Newport Beach. I looked closely at my photos, at Google and other images, and figured out that I can see the same buildings in Newport Beach, that are behind Jerry, and my ElliptiGO, in today's photos, as I can see from my deck. That's around 13 miles away from my house, as the crow flies. Cool.
^12-2-2014. Not an especially clear day. You only see haze where the ocean would be. The hills aren't very green yet since we hadn't had rain in ages.
^12-26-2014. Super clear day, looking from my house towards the ocean.
^12-26-2014. Looking from my deck upstairs with Newport Beach on the horizon, and with Catalina Island showing way out there in the Pacific.
^12-27-2014. Jerry (Spokes Man) on his single-speed bike. He hauls ass! I was like a boat anchor behind him. He said he's been getting in about 120 miles a week in Phoenix. My house would be right behind Jerry's head, at the base of the far mountains. "The unique saddle shape of the Saddleback is formed by two distinct peaks: Santiago Peak to the southeast and Modjeska Peak to the northwest."
^No photo of me but here's my ElliptiGO.
