I spent the Thanksgiving week in Keystone, CO with my immediate and extended family -- there were fourteen in total. We rented a seven bedroom house near the Keystone Ski Resort that comfortably accommodated all of us. Took a few photos at Keystone and the area near Arapahoe Basin Ski Area that I thought I would share.

The rented house near Keystone, CO.

Incidentally, it becomes a cooking adventure when at 10,000 feet in altitude; water boils at 195 degrees and steamed or boiled foods take a LOT longer to cook.

Nice pics. Thanks for sharing. The snow makes the area so pretty. Those to the north of us had snow. We did not. I'm OK with that!

I really love Colorado mountain pics, especially in the snow. What beautiful country!

Then come sit next to me for about five minutes. I'll bet you'll be feeling differently in no time.
Probably so. It's all relative. But we would have fun chatting about all sorts of things and playing with the pencils on the Group W bench (sorry... that time of year, so I make my Alice's Restaurant references).

A couple pictures of Denver’s City and County Building taken last night. Each holiday season it is lit with thousands of lights and becomes the most photographed structure in Denver. Its lighting is unique each year. The local Union Pacific Train Station became part of this year’s festivities, too.

^Oh, so that's what it is. My niece lives in Denver and she posted some photos on facebook of the building but never mentioned what it was. Very pretty colors.
