It is really neat to see. Yes, I do take a lot of pics. The winter is most fun because we never know what will show up as a visitor. We had a hummingbird a few years ago that was supposed to be in Mexico. He didn't mind me stalking him.

Leslie, please post more of your pics. My only photo ops with gators was last year in SC. They were pretty darn cool creatures. We'd love to see some hummingbird pics.
Just for fun, I entered one of my pics (ruins of a local cotton mill,at sunset) into a photo contest (calendar) for a local credit union.
My pic will be the pic for the month of April. I'm sure most of the folks who entered are hobbyists like me. The pros have better things to do.
I won bragging rights only. I was hoping to skip next month's car payment, but I don't think they will go for that. I can, however, pick up my calendar sooner than the other folks who didn't enter the contest.
I've probably posted this before, but here's the pic. These ruins were all covered and hidden by trees and vines, etc., until locals decided to clean up the site. It is now a popular place for folks to go and snap a few pics. Wedding parties, etc.

You are kind Dave. I just picked up my calendar allotment. The pic looks pretty good. They did insert small pics taken by others at the bottom of each monthly pic. All nice scenery, but it may take away a bit from the photo of the month.
I did find out that over 400 photos were submitted (I submitted four or five), so I am pleased to be in the top 12. I guess I'm now "Miss April."
