Good luck to Barbara today, Bill.

The storm was a bust for us. Not complaining!
The cherry tree this morning:
Luckily, no limbs fell on the house overnight. I drove around the neighborhood and there are downed trees and limbs everywhere. The tree guys are going to be busy for a while!

Wow Gene, we had a fair bit in the trees, but no major damage. Glad that your house made it through unscathed. Hoping this is the last snow, but I said that last week too.

Well, here's what's left of the cherry tree after the tree guys finished this afternoon. At least I will have some good firewood for next year!

Thanks Lainey and Emil. All went well. It was a very long day for both of us, but a lot tougher on Barbara than me.

The cherry tree remains look like this after 3 hours of hauling and splitting wood.

My wood rack is now full! The rest ^ goes into my woodpile in the back yard for the future.

I see all that work and I'm glad I converted ours to natural gas. Sorry for the loss of that beautiful tree.
