It could be worse, the mercedes version of s2ki MBworld.org uses newbie, member and fanatic instead of years.

Another issue I've seen is that not everyone has a badge, so still buggy.
Sam- In your options, you can turn off badges. Do you know, or have access to see if those not showing the badge have turned it off in their settings? It could be working just fine.

That's generally for the user to not see those things, similar to you having avatars and signatures turned off. A user can't disable the stars (new badge) in their settings, those are set up on the back end of the software. We had issues previously with some users not having stars, I think this is the same issue as now, only difference it is a badge now instead of stars.

I asked previously about people missing stars, don't recall if I got a sensible response though.

Two users I just checked, one has hide avatars & sigs, the other does not, but neither have a badge for years. One has been here since 2006, the other since 2002. They both had stars prior to the switch so something is goofy.

ok. I brought it up because on the "Badge" page, there's a REMOVE button.

Yeah, all good. The ones I looked at didn't have that turned off.

The badge feature should be related to the ones assigned to you in a signature, like the vintage badge some have still. Certain things were carried over, but I don't think they talk to the current software quite like they're supposed to.
