Cower put together a great game plan.
I think they remind me of my "Elway" Broncs of the 90's.
I don't think they can be stopped.
The biggest obstacle is once your the favorite, you lose.
Anyway
Go Steelers!!

OK, I hate to drag out an overworked phrase. And I really am not a football fan, so the portion of the Seahawks game I saw yesterday is the only NFL game I've seen all year. But why is Pittsburg favored even though the Seahawks have a better record and the league MVP on their team? Is it really just the "East Coast bias" -- ie. people back East haven't seen them but they have seen Pittsburg, so they go with what they know?

Good question, Mike, and I'm not certain.
But Pittsburgh's on a roll just now: they've got a winning streak going; and they've beaten the 1, 2 & 3 seeds in the AFC on the road (and the AFC was considered the stronger conference this year, I think).
Personally, I'm favoring Seattle because it's their first trip to the final game. HPH

Wow, Im a hardcore Hawks fan. There's NO love for the Hawks anywhere huh?? haha. Not here, not ESPN, nowhere!! Amazing. Im really hopin they win it all, I aint gon count the Steelers out though, they play really well. They seem more "hard core" while the Seahawks have a very strong unity as a team so it'll be great and if I could afford $2000 a ticket, Id be on my way to Detroit.

Key injuries play an important part also. For the Steelers, Ben Rothlisberger was injuried during the stretch where they lost several games in a row. That combined with the Steelers losing a game in OT and 2 in the last few seconds by a field goal could have translated into a Steelers record of 14-2.
Remember last year the Steelers were 15-1, this year they were 12-5 but imo a MUCH stronger team!
GO STEELERS!

i earlier had said it would be the pats vs seahawks. so i'm half right and i'll stay with the seahawks for their first appearence and win in the super bowl. key match up for me is seahawks offensive line vs blitzing steeler d. i must admit that its fun watching that steeler defenses aggresive play.
