Drink lots of Vodka Martini's, shaken not stirred, of course.

I probably won't drink, since I must be prepared to fly at a moment's notice.

The organizer is looking for a silver Aston Martin. Know anyone?

My Bond fanatic buddy got the premium tickets for our group. Apparently only 65 of these guests. One is a guy who handles the vintage Bond cars that travel around the world on exhibit. Should be very ! It appears there will be 1000 attendees.

I'm sure there will - maybe more than one! I think they plan to have actors dressed as all the characters, plus many guests will be dressing a part, too. They are even having a red carpet and interviews!

Sounds great. I'm too fat to be Bond. I'd go as Odd Jobs and throw my hat at Vito. It probably wouldn't hurt him much cause it's only a stocking cap.

He still hasn't decided whether he's wearing a tux or not. We are looking at some this morning. He got three suits at Macy's that we are picking up. The man has so much luck finding great deals on clothes. He got each of them for $200 down from $500. They are Michael Kors suits and have a 35" waist which is perfect. Very hard to find suits with a 35" waist. I think he should wear a tux if I'm going as Perky Galore.

He did buy a very nice tux and got his usual 50% off. He will be James Bondish (in the Sean Connery vein), with suspenders (no cummerbund) and high-gloss black shoes. Not patent - I hate those although they are popular with tuxes. And not velvet - the +1 nixed those real fast. Also a requisite white pocket square. We are doing a trial run on the outfits today. Getting close! Dinner at 6:45, then party hearty until 2 AM, if we make it that far.
