Last night I watched my DVR: Big Bang Theory, Two and a Half Men and Mike and Molly. I don't know when they are on because I just watch the recordings.

TV still sucks. I do like "The Good Wife" and "Revenge" not sure they are guy shows...

NCIS is on, I like the original not the Los Angeles one. Don't care for "Two and a Half Men" any more. Mike and Molly is OK.

I miss the good shows like "Cold Case" and "Without a Trace"

Not much "must see TV" for me, which explains my time spent on the internet.

Lainey, funny we agree. +1 and I like NCIS, one of our favorites. And the Good Wife. Do not like the LA NCIS, the characters are not likeable. However I think they gave LcoolJ (?) speech lessons because I can understand him this season. (watched the first one due to nothing else on).
I watch only reruns of 2 1/2 men, but I don't miss Without a Trace. It was getting boring, same plot, second verse.

I am also addicted to Dexter, but +1 will not watch it with me.

The first episode of "Last Resort" was pretty intense. I hope they can maintain that intensity through future episodes.

Showtime had a Homeland marathon this weekend. After seeing it win all the Emmys I set the DVR to record all 12 episodes. We have watched the first two and we are hooked.

I just got done watching the first half of season 5 of Breaking Bad. I can't wait to see how the series to concludes next year. Walter White is the most interesting character on TV in a long long time.

Ok, those two are intense shows and while the +1 has been able to handle the first two episodes of Homeland, she finds BB too violent. So let's lighten it up and talk comedy. If you want to have some fun, check out Episodes on Showtime. It just finished up season 2. A very funny show. Great writing and developed by one of the creators of Friends.

When nothing else is on I'll check out what is on Velocity Network or Speed Network.

It does seem very ironic that compared to the 50's & 60's when most of us only had a few stations to chose from we found TV worth watching, and now that most of us have literally a hundred or more channels to chose from we can't seem to find much worth watching?

Anyone have any thoughts on why this is? (I already know what mine are).

At Spring Fling 11 a few of us got into this discussion and I mentioned that I am a big fan of Castle (ABC on Monday nights at 10:00 PM ET). I think that it is one of the best written (intelligent) shows on TV with a great ensemble cast. A few people that were in that discussion agreed. Are there any other Castle fans?

For comic relief I have found my self relying on an old "friend". I have been watching a couple of episodes of Frazier every night (on Netflix), before turning in. Unlike most sitcoms today, IMHO Frazier was written for people that have more than a two digit IQ.

We liked the premiere of LAST RESORT and hope it'll be good. We enjoy that TNT show, MAJOR CRIMES and give it a . Normally I'm not much on sit-coms, but GO ON is funny and I usually catch it on demand. I like Mob Doctor, but it probably won't last. I liked Revenge in the beginning, but lost interest after the first season. I like HAVEN on scifi. I have no idea when anything comes on and often catch up if I can get stuff on demand on rainy days or if I just feel like watching a little tv. +1 really likes the Mentalist so we watch that whenever I can stay awake.

I've been watching Revolution. The story is about a world without electricity. I'm not sure where it is going, but it is an Erik Kripke production and I usually like his stuff. If you have HBO, take a look at Newsroom. The politics are to the left, but the program is very well done.
