New Job!
Finally! 9 months after being laid off in Ohio, and 6 months after moving to NC for "greener pastures", those pastures finally grew grass!
I received and accepted an offer today with the same company that laid me off in Ohio, working as a contractor for the EPA in Research Triangle Park, NC, which is home to most of that agency's computing power. The folks in the group that I have met so far seem to be really great, and it will be soooo nice to have a paycheck again! Seems like all that Cisco schooling I have been doing paid off, my offer was for a substantial increase over what I was making in Ohio.
I start next Tuesday.

Jonas, it's really great that all our folks who want jobs or new ones are finding them, even if it does take awhile!
