I just gotta know what cars you're parking indoors and leaving the fabric roofed S2000 outdoors in Columbus winter weather.

I just moved so half my 2-car garage is full of "stuff." The S2000 occupies the other half. 4-month old Ford Expedition and 2-year old Subaru Legacy are in the driveway for now. Even my wife considered parking the Honda indoors to be an "of course" item. Hopefully I can move her Subaru indoors in a couple of months. The new Expedition will just have to suck it up forever.

I winter-stored sports cars, boats, and campers at the County fairgrounds in Wooster and Cleveland. They come out in the spring looking just like they went in.

BTW a car cover will abrade your paint when the wind blows if there's any dirt on the car.

How much does three of four months of indoor storage coast in Ohio?

I am goblueS2K's wife, so I will answer your question since he is at work, and I am at home because I am retired.

The cars we are parking in the garage now are a 2015 Hyundai Genesis (a daily driver) and a brand new 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid, which we got just before Christmas to replace a 1992 Toyota Camry. We have not even driven the 2018 Toyota Camry Hybrid yet because of the winter weather. I am still driving the 1992 Toyota Camry back and forth to the senior center for my daily activities.

(Until we got the new 2018 car, the S2000 was safely tucked away in the garage, and the 1992 Toyota Camry was parked outside. However, right now we have 4 cars, and only a 2 car garage. We will eventually be getting rid of the 1992 Toyota Camry, so we will have 3 cars but still only a 2 car garage.)

I'm feeling guilty reading this, since I currently down to 3 vehicles with garage space for 5.

Seasonal (early Nov - mid Apr) storage ran me about $300 at the county fairgrounds in Ohio. Only slightly less expensive farther from the cities. Clean concrete floored building (not a sheep shed.) Had to remove the propane and gas tanks from the camper and boat (which went in covered). Only a couple of counties could take my J24 racing sail boat as she was 11' tall on her trailer. Don't recall the car restrictions (2 car garage, remember?), they may have wanted the battery removed so guys would bring a charged battery in the spring. Highly recommend this storage scheme.

The S2000 will fit in the right size "room" at the local "you-store-it" yard. There was one where I stored my trailerable motorboat and camper during the summer season.

I've had this for a very long time. It was only used outside for a few years because the last dozen or so have been in heated storage but I thought it was quite good.

Too bad you're so far away Dave or we could remedy that right quick.
