Even though I think NASCAR is the automotive equivalent of "Professional Wrestling" I must admit I watched a bit of the road course race on Sunday. Fun.
The only racing I really like on TV is WRC.
Otherwise - I'd rather be

First live race I saw was when I was 10 or 11 was NASCAR, in Marlboro MD, on a dirt track, complete with meeting the drivers & getting autographs (I'm not sure but I think I saw Fireball Roberts that day).
Loved that race & I've loved NASCAR ever since (not exclusively though, I also watch IRL, F1 & CART).
I never did figure out why racing had to follow a certain format to be "good". If it's got wheels, engine, driver it's got to be exciting.
So bash away, I'll still spend my Sundays (as many as I can) glued to the TV watching those guys "go around in circles all day" (another well-known NASCAR putdown) & yeah I have been called brain dead before.
If only DE were still racing.

we're beer snobs in the PacNW - tons of tasty microbrews to choose from.
We also get lots of great Canadian 5.5% beer as well.
Bud is fine for those really hot days when you want anything cold
