Last images before we break for a week...concrete for shower base being poured today. The cutout is for shampoo bottles, etc. Dave will extend the bottom edge so it measures about 3". Wall was not wide enough to recess it further.

Deb,

Is there a way that the base of the cutout can drain the water? Or will the water and soap scum collect there?

The base will be sloped slightly downward. This is also the way the shower concrete base will be poured - slightly downward toward the drain.

Big tile showing up Fri in prep for resuming work on Mon. I'm hoping to have an open house in Oct, so maybe some of you locals (or anyone else who's in town) can come see the place.

Last exciting pics before tiling starts...delivery went well, but it was touch and go for a bit. Turns out the tile place doesn't really deliver unless they are doing the install. Contractors usually pick up. But because I'm a good customer, my tile guy had one of his employees do it. Not sure he was happy about that, and he had to make three trips up to the condo (heavy boxes!), but I gave him a good tip for his trouble. Tile in brown boxes is the river stone I bought myself online, and the white (12 of them) is the grey. Also notice the two threshholds (large for shower, small for door).
