Default MSN Sport Car Top Ten List

I thought that this was interesting especially when one looks at the "cost of ownership" section.

Good write up on the S too! What the.....? Am I the only one who thinks the Mustang and RX8 don't even belong on the list? I mean from a "sports car" classification.

I don't think this is put together by enthusiasts. I think its put together by the MSN promotion department to lure people into their auto sites.

The article itself speaks to the ten most researched cars on the MSN Auto pages. Otherwise, objectively, it would be impractical to rank the Enzo along with cars like the Mustang, or even the S2000 for that matter.

Given their methodology, it only makes sense that the Mustang ranks # 1 on their list. The recent re-design coupled with a huge media frenzy over the new model's release, has caused a public hunger for as much information/reviews/pictures that they can find of the new model, using popular sites like MSN Autos for their gateway to such information.

Makes sense based on hits. Of course you can't even buy an Enzo - its sold out. But it is the top fantasy car, no doubt. People looking at the Mustang are probably seriously thinking about buying one, as well as the S2000.
