Try Command/Plus key. That increases the font size. Command/Minus key decreases it.(I just tried this with FIrefox and Safari and it works for both. I did it on the iMac and the MacBook Air).

Ken, I tried command plus and it works like a champ. Here's hoping my typos become infrequent because now I have no excuse. You da man. (Is da a typo?)
