This "Pearls" strip today reminded me of several people I know.



No matter what the subject may be, they always seem to make it about them.

I'm sure you know some, too, but I don't think there are any here in Vintage, though.

 

My ex became that way. When Christa got a truant notice for coming home from school sick one day, the ex said it was because someone in the high school didn't like him. When I told him, "It's not about you" he was furious with me.

Now days, I stay away from people like that.

 

I don't know. I think that everybody has a little bit of "me" in themselves.

 

Yes, I've met some along the way. If I had a sprained ankle, they had a broken one...........and so on.

Like Patty, I would now try to avoid those that truly think the world revolves around them.

We have them here in Canada too, but we just put them on the door step for collection, lol.
