I'm sure there are only about 3 or 4 of us on here who follow college hoops, but how about Loyola-Chicago? What a Cinderella team! Another upset over Nevada, and on to the Elite-Eight.

My son-in-law is a FSU grad, so naturally he's a Noles fan and my daughter being from Michigan . . . should be some excitement in their house Saturday when they play each other.

We especially enjoyed the Kansas State vs Kentucky game last night. KSt players were fouling out, and the lead went back and forth in the last ten minutes. It came down to the last shot at the end of the game. KSt had never beaten Kentucky.

^ It was on a bit late for me. But tonight I'm going to try to stay awake for the late game, since it's my old college dating ground Duke. I dated the bball team's manager and went to some of their fraternity parties. Then the manager broke up with me and ended up dating/marrying another woman in my dorm at UNC-G. It all worked out for both of us, I guess, although I see he later divorced as did I from my ex, the crazy Argentine. But then I found the +1, so all's well that ends well.

Sorry Deb, close but for that darn metal ring it almost went in twice but didn't do either - - sending it to OT. We enjoyed the game; maybe B-Ball isn't so bad after all.

^ Yeah, a disappointment for Duke, but it was a thrilling game. Much better than some of the others.

The two games tomorrow night should be pretty good. Kinda rooting for Loyola-Chicago.

Sitting here in Colorado in front of a crackling fire in the fireplace just waiting for the first Final Four game to start in a few minutes: Loyola vs Michigan. Drinking a Coors with Rocky Mountain spring water... Should be a great game!
