I have had my S out once this year, a week ago last Thursday. It is suppose to be in the 70's F (19-26*C) next week. I will be taking her out to get a State Safety Inspection done. With 114,946 miles on her I hope that the original brakes will pass. I think that they will, in spite of a couple of track days.

Got mine out yesterday for the first time this year. It'a going to be around 70 today so there's a good chance I'll get another ride in today.

They promised us 50 degrees. We have 46 and windy. No top down drive.

We did do some yardwork, and Rick is washing cars. (I think it's a bit chilly for that). Not exactly what I hoped to be doing today.........

62 today; neighbor saw me in the yard and asked if I was taking the MG out. Sure sign of spring. I took the 300# of sand I had in the back of my truck for snow traction out yesterday. Probably a little early but hope not.

We have a stretch of warm weather coming up but still need a few good rainstorms to wash away the salt. Last time my S was on the road was oct. 30th.

I know that I have been criticized in the past for quoting myself. But today the S passed Virginia State Safety Inspection with the original OEM pads at over 114,500 miles on her. When I got home, I reminded the Plant Pixie of the Sunday morning breakfast question at SF05 (Berkerley Springs) : "Matt, do you ever use your brakes?" My answer was: "Only to set the suspension for weight transfer into a corner". They are still at about at 4 MM.

I'm amazed at the brake life on these things. although it is getting to be time for a fluid flush.
