Default Major League Baseball.

Roughly 8 games to go for the regular season and all is as it should be. Sox and Yankees tied for first place with a three game head to head series coming up to end the regular season. What could be better than this? How about your team?

Post your baseball comments/wishes/hopes/and exasperations here.

Yes, the old nemesis from last year are at it again. Will Mariano Rivera sucuumb to the Red Sox? I hope not. Red Sox is a formidable team with impeccable batting order up and down. 3 game series will be do or die for both teams. May the better team win and go to playoffs.

Yankees and Red Sox fans are united in only one thing. The hope that the Tribe will start losing. That is the only hope for an eastern division team to get the wild card.

Well, the Nats have been managing to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory lately!! I think they did better than most peeps expected them to, but it would have been nice if they had gotten the wild card spot for the playoffs.

The final three regular season games for the Sox and Yanks should be interesting. It doesn't get much better than this for a fan. I'm hoping that it winds up a bit differently from last year. That hurt!

The two way tie in the east continues and Boston and NY close to within a half game of Cleveland for the wild card. This will be an exciting week!

Because of the last three games between the Sox and Yanks, I don't think both teams will make the cut. It is going to be one or the other. Cleveland is really playing well in the 2nd half. For me, I would prefer either Yanks or Sox make to the playoff. Who needs another Yanks and Sox match up? It will be over by the end of regular season and we should see a different team like Cleveland to make the playoffs. Even if Yanks don't make it, at least a different team gets a chance. Of course I hope Yanks make it but I know in the end, a better team will finish strong. And that is just the way it should be. The losers can reflect back until the next Spring Training.
