That pesky +1 is ALWAYS messing things up. How else would I ever get any new things?? Eventually he cannot find a new space for the duct tape, so I get a new appliance or whatever.

OK, I know we get way too many magazines:
My personal favorite: The Atlantic (Great, unbiased, in-depth articles about a myriad of subjects)
Road & Track (Love Peter Egan's column)
Car & Driver (This one just showed up---I didn't subscribe)
Sail (Same as above---just showed up, though I enjoy reading)
Money (Hasn't helped my finances at all!)
Consumer Reports (Gift subscription from my son)
Smithsonian (Free subscription)
Smithsonian Air & Space
AOPA Pilot (Comes as part of my dues to the Aircraft Owners & Pilots Association)
AARP (Same as above)
Grit (Terrific magazine about rural living)
Our State (Great magazine about places & people in North Carolina---a gift from my son)
Travel & Leisure (Free subscription)
Ducks Unlimited (Another one that just showed up)
Rachael Ray (Bea's)
Martha Stewart Living (Also Bea's)
Better Homes & Gardens (Bea's, but we're not renewing, thank goodness!)
Holy $hit---I never listed them like that before...no wonder I never seem to finish any articles and am constantly throwing one or the other into the recycle bin!

I had a couple of ski & snowboard magazines start to show up a few years ago addressed to each of my teenagers.
I thought it was odd at the time but then a few weeks later I happened to catch the charges on my credit card.
I knew neither one of them had ordered them or had access to my credit card. As near as I can tell either at the ski mountain or at a rental shop somebody lifted the numbers and sold magazines.
We got the charges removed but never did track down how they got ordered.
So I've always been suspicious of those free, just showed up, mags since.
I didn't list previously the half dozen or so different art magazines....
that +1 gets.
might be some gardening rags thrown in their too.
Don't ask, don't tell.

Checkers (the SCCA magazine)
I do get the Winding Road online magazine.
Professionally I get:
Bride
The Knot
Central Florida Bride
and a bunch of overseas 'Bride/Wedding' related magazines

I am VERY surprised to see so many folks getting so many magazines. I have not subscribed to anything in years. Everything is on line IMHO that I'm interested in. The wife gets a couple - one on gardens and one on birds (both were gifts).
