I know, but I was one of the first proponents of Megacalc in my company. Anyone remember this main-frame based spreadsheet program? I taught a few courses on it to fellow workers. Our IT department did not believe in PC's, and it was not until the early to mid nineties that we had any PC's. I probably came close to getting fired when I sneakily bought one on the sly. Guess I was considered an early adapter.

First spreadsheet I ever used was on an Atari. The spreadsheet came on a cartridge and it saved to a cassette recorder.

Sadly I believe Lotus is on the brink. They lost their way when they were not able to bring the vision and philosophy of the founder into the new millennium. Perhaps if they were owned by a another car company, e.g. Audi-Lamborghini, they can reclaim their mojo. I thought their foray into Indy racing was the cart before the horse, focus on the cars you sell first!
