Default Lost an old friend yesterday

Rusty has been part of our family for some 16 years, until yesterday. Her health had been declining and it was obvious that it was time to bring it all to a close.

A Doctor from Lap of Love came out and brought Rusty's life to a peaceful and dignified end.

Here she is riding in my S2000 in happier days:

She is in God's hands now.

Go in peace my friend.....

It's always tough when it's that time.
Hopefully another friend finds it's way into your life.

Sorry to hear that. That is the bad thing about owning pets. Very hard to let go.

You enjoyed her throughout her whole time on Earth. This does give one better perspective on life, itself.

My little dog, Samantha, died at 16. That is a good, long life. Remember the happy times, like the one in the pic!

so very sorry. We're still reeling from the loss of our little BB. It is so tough to lose a pet.

Thanks all. Appreciate the kind words.

We had known this was coming for some time, but that didn't make the actual occurrence any easier.

Our big concern was in knowing when it was time. In talking to some folks they all said, "you will get the look".

I hadn't seen it before but I have now. The problem is I can't get the look out of my mind.....

The Doctor from Lap of Love was very good at what she does. She was extremely comforting. Interesting way to make living though.

thanks again

I had two dogs put to sleep at home. I highly recommend it.

I know what you are going thru and it hurts. But it only shows how much their unconditional love meant to us
