Default Locking Gas Cap Time Once Again

All right the rising price of fuel has brought out the tank drainers once again.

My son lost 140 gallons of diesel drained from a couple delivery trucks. They just just caught a couple guys draining pickups at a worksite parking lot. They were using a pickup fuel tank and a reversed fueling pump.

I don't think the gas lid will withstand a screwdriver on the S. I wonder if they make one for us.

I'm going out this morning and buy one for the van this morning.

The S holds so little gas, I would think someone would look for an SUV to suck dry.

My husband even had hydraulic fluid drained out of some equipment. He's thinking it can be used for something else. I think someone wanted the equipment to break down because they don't like the project it's being used on.

Anyone know of alternate used for hydraluic fluid? Like bombs or crack?

Not to worry. Nobody can find the fuel filler door release on an S2000 anyway.

Yes, but, they can find crowbars and screwdrivers.

I'd be more mad at the damage done to the car's gas tank door than the loss of the gas itself.

Maybe, but there's a 90% chance that they will score premium from the S.

Someone hit a bunch of pickups in my neighborhood. They ignored everything else. They weren't picky about whether the trucks ran on gas or diesel. We're all hoping they were too stupid to keep them separated, and got a nice surpise when they filled up their cars.

Kyras

These guys had a long hose on a 175 gallon pickup tank with a pump.

They'd park in one place and empty as many cars as they needed to fill it up without moving... Smart set up

I assume they had a bigger drop tank somewhere.

Unbelievable! Do they know what the consequences are? I guess desperate people do desperate things in desperate times.
