Depends on the car cover. Ours is a FITTED car cover, made for the S2000, and it's fine for outdoor use.
Yes. I have the heavy factory car cover which fits very snug. I also have a very lite cheap car cover that does not fit very well, although it is tight. It will store in the small space beneath the rear window if the top is up. I have used it a few times when traveling and staying at those $6/hour motels. I would not recommend it for long term storage.

Any varmint will stay away from moth balls.

Get a cloth bag and fill it up. Lay it on the windshield or hang one from each mirror.

They will stay away.

We haven't seen the robin in two days. It seems to have left. None the less, yesterday afternoon I hung 2 CDs from the nearby trees (before I was sure that it was gone). It looks like the problem took care of itself. Time will tell.

Along with your tax CD's I can send you some of our family vacation pictures, that will do the trick!

Too bad you haven't figured out how to post those same photos, Maury.

Well, I'm not sure I have any advice to toss in. When my babies get big enough to start sticking their butts over the side of the nest, I put down a sheet of plastic (I call it their diaper) - but they aren't over my car. They left home 3 weeks ago and Fred and Ethel are working on brood #2. BTW, Patty - all survived and flew BEFORE they left the nest. I guess last season's drought wasn't good for the birds and that's why we had 2 really unhappy experiences.

They don't reuse the same nest do they? If so, I just ticked off some birds since our little ones have been on their own since Monday and I took down the nest today to clean up their mess.

Ooops! Yep. These built the nest last Spring and had 2 broods (neither did well) and came back this year, added a little fluff and re-used the same nest.
