I am not on a warpath with you. I offered my opinion and hoped that you would take it. You chose not to, and that was that. I thought the decision was wrong, but the decision was made. In the threads, where everyone was expressing an opinion, I felt that I could too.

What I object to is the locking of threads while a discussion is in progress. You have cut the discussion off at the knees. I don't think that was right nor do I think that should ever be done in the Vintage forum. The Vintage forum, if it is anything, is a place where discussion is supposed to be able to take place. And remarkably, those discussions always tend to work themselves out. By locking a thread you have in essence said that there is no longer room for discussion. Read what you wrote in the post where you locked the thread.

 

I understand Chaz's motive in locking those threads temporarily to give everyone a breather over the holiday. Let's try to move forward.

 

Now, we all know the answer to that question....
