Hi everyone,
Everything calm here in Bridgeville now. We've probably gotten about 7 inches of rain so far and the wind speed was in the 60 mph range yesterday. We never lost power (under ground). We've been very lucky compared to a lot of others. Gene..I hope your generator gets rusty from lack of use.

We dodged the bullet! Very little rain, but we did have some impressive winds for a while. Parts of a Pizza Hut and Wal Mart roof blew off, downed trees and limbs and some coastal flooding. However, compared to NYC, NJ and other areas, we are very, very fortunate. We did not lose power at all.

Relatively unscaithed here. We had some branches down, no damage, and a lot of rain, but no flooding. Never lost power.
The winds near the eye were quite calm, but I can say, I hope to never see another styorm like this.
Good to hear that things relatively well for all.

Good to hear that most everyone is safe. You would think being this far away from the heart of the storm that we would get to just watch.
Here at work, since Saturday, we have received just short of 5 inch of rain. Last night the wind gusts were at 60mph. We have several trees down including one blocking our drive. Just to show you the type of people we have here at Q-Lab, instead of turning around and going home and leaving the tree for me to worry about, several people grabbed chain saws and moved the tree so we could open up. Lunch will be on me as soon as things get back to normal.
We are still getting hard rain and wind strong gusty winds. Most steams and rivers are flooded with a lot of people without power. Many roads are closed due to flooding and downed trees. Down state it is snowing!
Thank God we are not in the heart of the storm.
Everyone stay safe.

A non-event up here by Lake Ontario
Got about 2" of rain, some strong wind last night
No trees down, lost power for several hours last night while I was sleeping
Good luck to those suffering from this mega-storm

All OK here in Rowley MA [at least in my neighborhood]. Lots of gusty wind [probably 50 knots max] until about midnight and a total of around 2 inches of rain. Lost power for maybe 5 seconds about 6 PM. The 6 huge pines and 2 large oaks on our lot that I was worried about survived with only a few twigs down.
Glad to hear that Zippy didn't have too much trouble in NJ .....looked like that whole area [where I used to live] was really going to get waffled.
