Default Left Lane on the Highway

So Really, what is the Left Lane on our Highways for ?

Please VOTE Before Scrolling down

Most of us (S Owners) will get this question correct, However Most People don't use the Left Lane Properly and really don't have a Clue what the Left Lane is for.

Theoretically it's the passing lane. However, this is the US, where drivers are obviously taught that being passed is a personal affront to their character, and should be resisted to the best of their ability.

Of course, having an S2000 helps in these situations. I'm usually around them before they can do much about it.

The passing lane of course. The Germans have it right about driving being a "priviledge". Left lane bandits don't last long there.

It's too early in the morning to get all worked up and ruin my day. Let's just say that pulling up behing someone and then having to pass them on the right because they won't move over is one of my pet peeves.

OK count to ten now - breathe, relax, center yourself.........

There that's better - Ok back to work

Here in NJ that is know as the "Jersey Sweep". Two or more lanes in one motion.
