This is like the 15th time I've seen this unsubstantiated claim so I spent 30 minutes of Google time trying to find this "how to adjust your valves" thing. A 1938 Ford manual told you how to adjust the points, change a tire (even removing it from the rim, patching and reinstalling) but I never found anything about adjusting valves. Now, if this is a dig at the younger generation (which I certainly cannot claim any connection with other than being the father of two of them), it fails to take into account either the complexity of modern automobiles nor the simplification of owners manuals which for any question the standard answer is "take it to the dealer". So, while this might have a kernel of truth somewhere, it's an extremely tiny kernel.

 

But it's still funny, right?
I have personally seen some very dumb warning labels on things that anyone with a positive IQ should know, but they were likely there for reasons of legality.
