She is swamped with work and planning her son's wedding rehearsal dinner. He's getting married in three weeks. I will be seeing her at the end of the month. She is going with me to a Motown concert since the +1 will be on biz travel.

To the Ken's and others that are organizing SF12,
In responding to another thread here it occurred to me that it may be useful for who ever wishes to attend some talks about the S2000 during the down time (perhaps on Saturday afternoon between the time that we return to the hotel and the banquet).
At SF05 at Berkerly Springs (if my memory serves me correctly) we had several speakers on several subjects (including Legal Bill on detailing, etc. ) Fast forward to 2012 and now that we have several people that may be new owners of their previously owned S2000, it may be time to share our knowledge with them. For example: I wonder how many of them do not know about the "Secret Compartment"? I know of at least two members of Vintage that did not know about this until they attended a Vintage event.
For those of you that may remember, I did a talk about defensive driving (that was well received, based on the comments the next day at breakfast. Including the question: Matt, do you ever use your brakes? ) and gave a hand out on how to eliminate "blind spots" (which is a common complaint about the S when one's top is up) .
Or perhaps a reminder why "seventeen feet" is the difference between having an accident or not is important.
Just a thought for consideration.

If there is enough interest in having a Q&A session with a panel that would start by each doing a brief presentation (perhaps fifteen minutes each) to "prime the pump" for people to ask questions to the panel how much time is available (as well as the meeting room) to us? Perhaps Legal Bill would present his Wash & Wax talk, I would be obliged to talk about defensive driving as well as how to eliminate blind spots on any vehicle that one drives, especially the S with the top up.
What other topics would people like to address? Please let your thoughts be known so that we can judge how much interest there may be in doing an hour or so presentation and Q&A session? If there is sufficient interest I will try to put something together with others (I.E. Legal Bill, and who ever else may be interested in presenting).

Matt, thanks for thinking of me. I was never in the military, but my brother was and he told me "never volunteer." Is that another military lesson?
Just a heads up here, but I have a trial the week after SF. I hate to even suggest that I won't be at SF, but I have a good bit of work to do to get ready for the trial and it is out of state so my Sunday travel will be a bit of a problem. The Friday dinner seems to be taken care of, but will continue to work on that as needed to make sure all details are in place. Again, I'n NOT saying I can't come, just that I have now gone to tentative status.
